We have decided to use as little props as possible, one so that we can spend money on other things and also we don't want our music video to look pre planned. However in the song there are actual lyrics about drinks such as a pint or red wine so we are planning to have them on the table when filming in the bars. Also due to the genre of the song there is a lot about smoking so we will be using cigarettes, which fits in with he song. 

COSTUME AND MAKEUP Wesley will be wearing his own clothes for the music video. His style is common street wear, with things such as designer trainers, jumpers, t-shirts, coats and jeans. He will be wearing his own clothes due to the genre of music and nature of the song being very representative of him.  Below are a list of photographs similar to what Wesley will wear:

27 PLANNING SETTING  Very urban locations will fit in well with our music video. places that are slightly edgy and for younger generations too. The genre of the song also would not fit in with anywhere other than an urban city area. Also the fact that our artist is using his own song, he himself said he would only feel comfortable filming somewhere he felt he knew and with people he knew as he feels like it would more accurately represent the song.

The plan is that on Saturday 20th of January we are going to meet Wesley in the city to film some footage of the city filming. On this day we plan to film our friends and Wesley in the city at the playhouse, the birdcage, the bell and places like this that we like to hang out with our friends. It will be a very chilled atmosphere in the video as that is like the genre of the song.  We have yet to contact the venues of the places we want to film, however we will email or go into the places during next week and when we have done so i will attach a screen shot or pictures on to my blog.  On a further date we will film Wes personally rapping his music, in a  studio, probably in school if we are unable to contact anyone else who has a studio, as the music video style is going to flip between him in the city with our friends and him in a studio. What are you trying to find out in your audience research? In our audience research we are trying to find out what type of music people consume, whether or not people consume music videos, if they do then what they will watch them on, whether it being YouTube or the television. We are also trying to find out what age groups are more likely to consume music videos. Even though Ciara and I have an idea of the age group we are targeting with our music video, we feel it is necessary to go out somewhere, like our local town Wymondham and ask people of a variety of ages what they consume music videos on.
