39 Final idea

Our final idea is still going with the initial Idea. It involves a large group of our friends and Wesley filming his day to day life. It will be a very chilled music video, expressing the lives of teenagers around the Norfolk area. Our music video doesn't have a direct story line as that was the whole point of our idea, we didn't want to have one as we wanted a very natural, real interpretation of teenage day to day lives. However even though our idea doesn't have a story line, it will show diversity and real accurate examples of current teenage lifestyle.

Questions Asked Are there any particular album release posters that you remember? For what reason do you remember these? How important is a poster to you deciding whether to buy it? Why? In your opinion what makes a good poster? How much space should the act name and track name take up? Should the image be of the act or a piece of design/art work? Does this depend on whether the act is a soloist or as part of a group/band? Should there be a common theme across the poster and CD cover? Do you like to see a quote and/or star rating? Should the acts social media accounts appear on the poster somewhere? Should the release date and ways of purchasing appear somewhere? Is the choice of font and text colour important?

34- director style

Ciara and I have decided that we want to use the director style of self taught director Georgia Hudson. Our main inspiration is her music video of Loyle Carners hit Isle of Aran. We have decided we want our music video to resemble the quality of hers and as the song is similar, they both have similar  atmosphere 's to them.  Georgia Hudson Georgia is a self-taught director and editor with a background in fine art. She was a huge video contributor to i-D magazine before making a name for herself on the music scene. Georgia's love of dance, fashion and colour is evident is in her work making her videos vibrant and capricious of the moment. Parts of her music videos that have inspired on our ideas the most:

33 PLANNING EDITING  due to the music video content being purely based on a song from the performer, we wanted to make the music video very personal to him. we aim to have the music video go from a personal shot of him just singing the song itself to him hanging with his friends.  I have seen this edit in many music videos. where it flips from a story to the artist performing.  example-  this video shows us the artist performing the song which allows the viewer to connect with the lyric content more as it is similar to the artists emotions or opinions of the video content, but also gives the viewer an insight to the experience of the actors in the video. we aim to create this in our music video by making it very personal to wes himself. shots such as cut in shots all help to make this very personal, filming things like wes' clothes or the drinks he buys helps to create the connection from viewer to artist. similar to this we may use...

A very rough story board of what the music video will entail. 1. Firstly it will start with in our friends Max's flat as the initial start of the song is very chilled and not a lot going on and it will just show Wes.  2. When the song starts it will be our friends at the playhouse in norwich  3. Wes walking into the playhouse and greeting all of our friends  4.This will be Wes being filmed in the studio singing  5.It will go back to one of our other chosen locations, this time the birdcage in norwich  6.Wes in the studio  7.All of our friends in the Bell in Norwich  8.Wes in the studio again  9. All of our friends back at the playhouse  10/11. All of our friends being filmed at the birdcage  12. It will end with Wes finishing the song
