Music Videos In 1894, sheet music publishers Edward B. Marks and Joe Stern hired electrician George Thomas and various performers to promote sales of their song " The Little Lost Child ". This would become a popular form of entertainment known as the illustrated song , the first step toward music video . In 1926, with the arrival of " talkies " many musical short films were produced. Vitaphone shorts (produced by Warner Bros. ) featured many bands, vocalists and dancers. Animation artist Max Fleischer introduced a series of sing-along short cartoons called Screen Songs , which invited audiences to sing along to popular songs by "following the bouncing ball", which is similar to a modern karaoke machine. Post 12 evaluation

We managed to get all the filming done quite quickly. The opening scene was filmed on our way to the main location so we got the intro done on the first take which saved us a lot of time and meant that we already had the first 50 seconds of the song covered. Whilst walking to our location, we took a few shots of our actress Liv just walking, which was useful for the parts of the song where there is no singing. Altogether, we went through the song about 8 times until we had all the footage we needed. The first take was still a bit awkward and my two other team members Jess and Evie had to turn away whilst Liv was singing which made it easier for her not to laugh. Singing the song out loud was strange at first, as there were some people passing and looking over, but it definitely helped Liv’s accuracy in lip syncing and made her singing more authentic.
